Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are an NBA team that play at the Oracle Arena. The Warriors have won  four NBA finals and have gone to the finals 7 times. Last season the Warriors won the NBA championship with record of 65 wins and 15 losses. So far this season they lead Pacific West division, have the best record in the Western Conference, and have the best record in the NBA. The Warriors average 115.1 points per game, 6.5 blocks per game, and 28.9 assists per game this year. This season the Warriors have won 22 games and have lost 0 games. This is most amount of games won without a loss in NBA history. The Warriors have an outstanding team this year because of superstars Steph Curry, Klay Thomson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, and Harrison Barnes. The Warriors are an amazing basketball team and I can't wait to see how many games they will win without losing and if they can win another NBA finals.

Stephan Curry

Stephan Curry, also know as Steph Curry, is a point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He was born on March 14,1988 in Akron, Ohio. At the University of Davidson, Steph won the Southern Conference Player of the Year Award. He was drafted by the Warriors in the first round, seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. Curry played solid in his rookie season, and continued over the next four seasons. During the 2014-2015 season, he became unstoppable! That year, he won an NBA finals, a MVP award, two ESPY awards, and made it to the all-NBA team. So far in his career, Curry has 9,158 points, 2,941 assists, and 429 games played! People say he is the best player in basketball right now, and he could be the next Michael Jordan. Steph Curry is an amazing basketball player and will accomplish many things in his outstanding NBA career.

Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning is a quarterback for the Denver Broncos. He was born on March 24, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1998 NFL draft. While he played for Indianapolis he won an MVP award, offensive player of the year award,  a Super Bowl, 3 ESPY awards, and the Walter Peyton award. In 2011 Peyton was traded to the Denver Broncos. Peyton is a great quarterback because he throws amazing passes to wide receivers like Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas, and Owen Daniels. In his career he has played 263 games, 6,115 completions, 71,836 yards, and 539 touchdowns. Peyton is a successful all around  football player because of his perfect touchdown passes and his strong leadership skills. He is a great role model to kids today because he is always positive,  picks up his teammates after a bad play, and is an amazing football star. Peyton Manning has been very successful in the NFL, and will definitely be in the NFL Hall of Fame someday.

Kevin Durant

Kevin Wayne Durant, also known as KD, is a small forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was born on September 29, 1988 in Washington, D.C. As a college freshman at the University of Texas, KD won the Naismith Trophy Award, as he was the best college basketball player that year.  He was the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Since he was drafted, KD has been unstoppable!  In 2009, KD consistently made long three pointers and was able to drive to the basket easily. That season, he averaged 30 points per game and helped the Thunder win more games than the season before.  KD has had an outstanding NBA career so far by making the USA Men's Basketball team and winning a gold medal, earning a rookie of the year award, winning an MVP award, and four scoring titles. He has also won the Best Male Athlete award and the Best NBA Player award at the ESPY's in 2014. In his career he averages 27.3 points per game, 572 games played, 6.7 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game. It's only the beginning of the 2015-2016 season and KD is already playing great. Kevin is so successful because he sticks to his motto," Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard."




Cam Newton

Cam Newton is a quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. He was born on May 11, 1989 in  Atlanta, Georgia. He was the number one draft pick in the 2011 NFL draft. That year, Cam made history by winning a Heisman Trophy, a national championship, and he was the first overall pick in the NFL draft.  He is the only player in college football history to accomplish this.  So far in Cam's awesome career, he has 15,701 passing yards, 1218 rushing yards, 91 touchdowns, and 1245 completions. Cam is an amazing quarterback because he has great wide receivers and tight ends such as Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin catching his incredible passes and completing plays for yards. From throwing touchdown passes to having his own foundation, Every 1 Matters, Cam is a great person all around. Cam's foundation reaches out to families and strengthens communities throughout Charlotte and Atlanta. Cam Newton is an outstanding football player and has a bright future ahead on and off the field.

J.J. Watt

Justin James Watt, better known as JJ Watt, is a defensive end for the Houston Texans. He was born on March 2, 1989 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In the 2011 NFL draft, the Texans picked up JJ Watt in the first round. JJ is a great player on the field and off the field. In games he sacks, tackles, and puts pressure on the quarterback. When he is not playing football he visits children in hospitals to surprise them and put a smile on there face. He is also very generous to the kids by giving them his cleats, gloves and autograph pictures. In July of 2011, family friends of mine got in a horrible car accident. The parents were killed, two of the kids were paralyzed from the waiste down, and the sister had a minor injuries. JJ went to visit the childeren in the hospital and they were so suprized. That's when he created and built a connection and friendship with them. Since the horrible accident, JJ has hung out with the three kids and written there names on his gameday gloves or cleats for good luck. JJ Watt is a great player and person from sacking quarterbacks on the field to connecting with families and childeren off the field. In my opinion JJ is an amazing role model to young kids today.

Odell Beckham Jr

Odell Beckham Jr., also known as OBJ,  is a wide receiver for the New York Giants. He was born on November 5, 1992 in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2014, the Giants drafted OBJ in the first round of the NFL draft.  In his Rookie season, OBJ made an outstanding one handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys. People say it was the greatest catch ever made in the NFL. This is when I believe he became unstoppable and incredible. In addition, he had 91 receptions, 1,305 yards, and 12 touchdowns in this rookie year. Odell has a signature touchdown celebration  for every time he scores called "the Whip." The Whip has become popular all over the world with many kids and fans participating. This move has made Odell  quite famous. Odell Beckham Jr. has become a young superstar with an amazing football future ahead, and hopefully will make more outstanding plays as he grows in the NFL.
