Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Stanton is an MLB player for the Miami Marlins. He got drafted by the Marlins in the 2nd round, 76th pick of the 2007 MLB draft out of  Norte Dame High School. After he was drafted he was sent to the Minor leagues until the start of the 2012 season. When Giancarlo came into the major league he helped the Marlins win more games that season than the year before by 5 games. Giancarlo is known for hitting long powerful homeruns. He has hit a homer out of  Dodger Stadium, and plenty more that go past 470 feet. During the beginning of the 2014 season Giancarlo got hit in the face by a pitch which caused him to miss most of the 2014 season. In 2014 he won the Hank Aaron award, an award for the top two hitters in the American and National League. In his career he has hit 189 homeruns, 714 hits, and 486 RBI's. Giancarlo Stanton is a great MLB player and has a bright future ahead of him.
